The Egyptian air traffic controllers lost contact with an airliner bound for Russia shortly after taking off from Sharm el-Sheikh, has learned Reuters from sources close to civil aviation. Two hundred and twelve people, mostly Russian tourists, on board of the aircraft, the sources said. His disappearance has been confirmed by sources close to the security services in the Sinai Peninsula.
