Togo : the end of voting

In Togo, voting places were closed at 16 hours GMT, as required by the electoral law.
Voting started at 7:00 GMT. The agents of the electoral commission began counting the votes, as of the close of offices. The 8994 country's voting stations must transmit their records to the commission.
In total, nearly 3.6 millions voters went to the polls.
Faure Gnassingbe faced four candidates, including Jean-Pierre Fabre, seen by observers as his main challenger.
The electronic method of centralization and transmission of provisional results of the vote proposed by the election commission was the subject of a dispute between the government and the opposition until friday evening.
Thousands of observers were deployed, to the transparency of the election.
