The seventh season will consist of seven episodes instead of ten usually. It must be broadcast next summer. The latest season is scheduled for 2018. According to Casey Bloys, the number of episodes is not yet decided. "We will take as much as we will give producers", he just said.
A spin-off is not excluded. "We are open to that", he explained, but again "for the moment, there are no concrete plans".
Last year, Game of Thrones won 12 Emmy Awards, a record for a series in a single year. This year, the HBO series is leading of the Emmy Awards nominations with 23 mentions.
